Application of Hydrostatic Testing protection in the construction of pipelines and operation infrastructure of hydrocarbon transport systems.
Activity aimed at guaranteeing the cleanliness of any strange object in the duct as well as is tightness and mechanical integrity, through a hydrostatic test or a pneumatic test with nitrogen. The interior cleanliness of the duct is done with air-boosted bull-hecks, selecting the adequate element to get a clean duct free of strange particles that could damage the covering and the inner walls of the duct, and it is done before and after each sealing process.
The tightness of the duct is done by filling it with clean water free of pollutants, using high pressure equipment, for which, at the customer’s request, and complying with the regulations and the service the duct will provide, continuous time readings will be kept for up to 24 hours maximum. For the pneumatic tests, pure nitrogen is supplied and it is guaranteed that all construction processes comply with the quality and acceptance required by the customer, under regulations ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
